This year's Freiburg Gymnastics Congress were held purely virtually with great excitement.
On average, more than 300 trainers attend the traditional congress, which takes place every year and has become an integral part of the training calendar. With 315 participants, the average was reached again this year. From the organisers' point of view, everything has been very satisfactory. Only the technical hurdles for some of the participants we had not foreseen. To our surprise, not only some older colleagues had difficulties with the technology, but also trainers of the younger generations. Once again it remains to be said that "digital natives" are not necessarily "digital readies".
However, with a hotline that reacted quickly, practically 7 days a week, as well as with the subsequent creation of explanatory videos we have contributed to an additional increase in digital competence.

We were also surprised by the very good interaction via the forum. The trainers asked each other questions, answered them and even loaded their own documents for the training. The forum was always followed and accompanied by us without influencing the thinking of the participants too much.
